I love John Pennypacker
I got word from Joel Schou that someone was referred to his web site through a google search for the phrase "i love john pennypacker." Specifically the url was:
http://google.com/search?hl=en&q=i+love+john+pennypacker
I really don't know how to feel about that. I suppose it could be a different John Pennypacker, or it could be me. Or it could be someone trying to find out if anyone has pledged their love for me on the web. Whatever the story is behind it, it has certainly piqued my curiosity.
The strange part is that that query leads to Joel's site. But I guess I see why: that google can be quite silly at times. The depressing part is after following the search myself, I found no trace of anyone who loves me. But that's OK, I know who loves me (with the possible exception of one anonymous googler), and I must say that finding a page dedicated to loving me online would probably leave me feeling uneasy.
I really just have no idea why anyone would search for such a peculiar subject. I'd sure love a little closure on this one. But I bet I won't get it.
