The Virgin Entry
Having developed this NaughtyBlog locally for so long and having spent great amounts of time between coding sessions, I have to wonder if it'll work on a web server that isn't my laptop. It only took me about 10 minutes to ensure that I had permission to post articles. That was interesting quirk. Having smashed that one though, I'm excited to proceed further.
So, here goes. This is the first entry of what will amount to at least six in the future. I think I'll file this post under the appropriate category, "Blog Progress."
hmmm... Found two goodies right off the bat. I'm slashing all wrong. That is to say that I'm not properly stripslashing. I'll have to compare what I write to the database to see what the problem is. And it doesn't seem to record the categories on the first go either. That won't do at all.
The slashing issue is fixed. I guess there's merit to detection of magic quotes after all! Now on to the category mystery!
And the category bug is fixed. Silly me. Silly bug.

One down. The cookies work again. It was another slashing issue.
now onto the html attributes.
Images Fixed
Fixed the images issue, and created a way to use existing images in new posts. Yeah, it's admin stuff, but I wanted to continue my fabulous monologue. :)
Squashed the html bug too
If I'm not mistaken, links should now work again, and they no longer have issues with having the href stripped out of them.
I guess this will be the test. I'll cross my fingers.
