WebDev Additions for Safari
laszlo.com has released an early alpha version of a plug-in for Safari, that, well, assists in web development. It outlines elements and reports image dimensions. All in all not as useful as the WebDev Toolbar for Firefox, but a promising beginning.
It doesn't allow you to easily view and edit CSS, and it doesn't have easily accessible validation options. But what it does do, it does well. It's all stacked nicely into the View Menu, and you'd barely know it's there unless you need it.
Couple it up with Safari Stand, and you've got colored syntax when you View Source. That's an addition that's worth its weight in gold.
Lastly, since we're maxing out Safari, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Pith Helmet It quite simply blocks ads on pages, and wow is it ever smart. It also allows the user to easily activate the Debug menu and get at a few of the browser's hidden options.
Pretty nifty stuff for turning Apple's lowly Safari into a smarter browser.

Poor Safari
It gets no respect...
This is a nice addition though. I've been switching over to FireFox (reluctantly) to do some things when needing to validate or do other things that the famous web-dev toolbar does but now there's at least this to keep me in my favorite browser.
Safari Stand is another nice one - the editable source is a key addition - live changes to pages is a nice tweaking addition.
the link to the plugin appears to be not working. Any idea where I could get this plugin?!
